Yes, we will arrange an arrival time in advance and meet you there. Our skipper will spend about an hour training you. We show you the boat and its equipment, tell you the basic rules of navigation, show you how to moor and do a test sail with you. If necessary, or in higher winds, we will help you to moor up on the way back to our harbour.
Practically all inland waterways are navigable. We can help you design an itinerary to suit your needs. As sailing times are greatly influenced by weather conditions, we recommend that you check with us to make sure that you will be able to sail everything you have planned.
Sailing time is greatly influenced by weather conditions and can even double on a windy day upwind.
Nida is very roughly about 4 hours to 4.5 hours sailing one way.
Juodkrante can be reached in 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
The boat has a 96l tank of fuel (depending on the model) and can sail for about 10 hours on a full tank.
There is also one spare tank - 24l.
In Juodkrante you can both moor and overnight on almost the entire coastline. -Free of charge.
In Nida Harbour, mooring and overnight stays in the harbour are subject to a fee (there are parking meters and a person in charge of the harbour).
You can moor for free at Pervalka Marina.
You can anchor away from the harbours, off the coast, at the dead dunes. You can anchor there for the night.
Anchoring on inland waterways is forbidden (specified in the app, which you should download)
